This magnificent boulder opal is set in a 22ct wire setting that is modelled on an ancient roman pendant. It is the most handsome piece. The opal is bright and full of light and movement, and the gold around it has been plaited and twisted and gold beads added at the sides. The pendant is 2” long and 1.25” wide and is an astonishing piece of statement jewellery. The robust but elegant torc fastens with a simple 18ct gold clasp.
